Meet the Staff

  • Although I'd always liked the idea of being able to swim with the fish, I'd also thought that 'normal' people like me didn't learn to Scuba Dive. After all, my first attempts at snorkelling had made me sound like Darth Vader breathing though the snorkel.

  • After attending a work's training course designed to get you to think 'outside the box' and believe 'anything is possible', I decided that .Yes, I could learn to Scuba Dive.
  • I achieved the Open Water certification, so what more did I need? I could take underwater photographs at 18m so why did I need to go deeper? 70 dives later I was still of the same opinion.

  • Then one day, watching Mark encourage a student to take his first breaths under water, I realised that there was another aspect to diving that I also wanted to explore. 18 months later, I was certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, and haven't looked back since.

  • Alison

  • Mark learned to Scuba Dive in 2003 and continued to dive for pleasure until 2005. In 2005, Mark went to Cyprus where he completed his PADI IDC and became a PADI OWSI instructor.
  • Ask him about his knots !

  • Mark and Alison then went to live in Cyprus and taught for a short spell. But unfortunatly Mark descided that he missed home to much and his two daughters so came back to the UK, where he has been teaching ever since. Mark is currently a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

  • "I am enjoying the UK diving and teaching. I do like holiday diving and Alison and I have been lucky enough to dive in several countries. I think one of my favorite dives was in Gozo Malta. I look forward to diving with you in the near future."
