  • A number of our members have been very successful over the last few months so congratulations are in order.

  • Firstly, we have to congratulate Sue for completing her Open Water course. What’s even better is that Sue has immediately gone on with her diving and done a few pleasure dives so really understands what the excitement is all about.

  • Amy spent 2 minutes and 46 seconds hovering as part of her Dry Suit Diver Specialty course because Mark didn’t tell her she’d completed the requirement. She passed with flying colours. Congratulations, Amy

  • We’ve also had the pleasure of taking both a Deep Diver Specialty and Wreck Diver Specialty courses. These were for Gareth and Karl who must know Stoney Cove like the back of their hands by now. Congratulations to both of you.

  • Finally, Steve has completed his Advanced Open Water and Dry Suit Diver Specialty courses with us, so congratulations to him

  • Eyemouth Trip

  • Five of us had a very successful trip to Eyemouth at the end of July. We managed to do 2 boat dives and one shore dive on the Friday and repeated the shore dive on the Saturday. The visibility was excellent giving us plenty to see. Check out the photos in the gallery.

  • The trip was so good that Karl, Gareth and Sean have been up there again and this time managed to get some dives at St. Abbs as well.

  • We’ll keep you informed of the next trip. Please let us know if you are interested in joining us.

  • In the meantime, there is the trip to Runswick Bay on 30th August. Meet in the car park at about 11:30 as high tide is at 13:13. We’ll aim to do the dive, having half an hour either side of high tide.
