Diver Specialty

Wreck diving can be very exciting and is irresistible to many divers. Learn the skills and procedures needed to safely investigate that sunken wreck.
The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course teaches you:-
To evaluate the wreck for potential hazards and safe entry points
To map the wreck and find the ascent line
Proper use of a penetration line while also using a dive torch
To assess air supply and penetration limits
How to penetrate a wreck
How long will it take?
Approximately 24 hours split between home study/classroom work and open water dives
4 open water dives split over 2 days
You must be an Advanced Open Water diver or equivalent and at least 15 years old to do the Wreck Specialty course.
